Returns Policy

1. Cooling off period
If for any reason you are unhappy with any item purchased from srbWorld, you can elect to return it to us at any time following the placing of the order until the day falling on the seventh working day following delivery of the item to you provided always:


A. the item is unused, has not been assembled in whole or in part, and is in the condition in which it was sent to you;

B. the item is in its original packaging (see further notes below);

C. you agree to pay the costs of the return shipping to srbWorld (where the item has been dispatched and/or received by you);

D. any free item or gift sold with the item to be returned is also returned in good condition; and

E. such notification is in writing. An email addressed and sent to returns@srbWorld.com will be sufficient for these purposes. Where posting such notice, we advise that a certificate of posting be obtained.

On receipt of the item by srbWorld and providing points A to E (inclusive) have been complied with, srbWorld shall refund to you your original purchase price for the item within a period of 30 days of receipt of the returned item by srbWorld. For the avoidance of doubt, only the standard delivery cost shall be reimbursed. Please note that:

i.                     If you have purchased a combination offer, such combination offer is the product and all items making up such product must be returned under this provision if appropriate.

ii.                   If you have paid a shipping upgrade, the cost of the upgrade will NOT be reimbursed. Only the value of the standard UK mainland shipping will be reimbursed.

 

iii.        For the avoidance of doubt, the return shipping charge shall be the rate published for the weight and size of the product on the TNT website from time to time LESS a discount equal to:
- 50% for Mainland UK (click here)
-25% for ALL other locations (click here)

Please note, the return of damaged, faulty or incorrect items is detailed below.
 
Where an item is to be returned to srbWorld (for any reason) you are under a statutory duty to take reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit or damaged whilst in your possession. To minimise the risk of such damage, srbWorld recommends that in addition to returning goods in their original packaging the outer box is also wrapped in tough, polythene stretch wrap film with high puncture performance. If you do not have easy access to such material, we recommend that you use a kitchen film wrap as an alternative. Also, that handles are made for the courier using heavy duty string.
 
2. If damage to the packaging and/or content is clear upon delivery
If the outer packaging is clearly damaged upon delivery and/or you suspect the contents have or may have been damaged, simply refuse to take delivery of the item. The courier will then return the item to srbWorld. To ensure we can organise a replacement for you, please email returns@srbWorld.com giving a brief description of the damage.

Please note, even where no damage can be seen, you should always sign the courier paperwork as "contents unchecked". Do not be put off by the lack of space or the lack of a designated box, simply write across the paperwork in a ball point pen. Failure to do so will effect your right to a replacement or a full refund and you will be required to pay a secondary shipping price should a replacement be issued.

3. If the contents are damaged when you open the box
If you take delivery of an item and the contents are damaged, you should advise srbWorld by emailing returns@srbworld.com as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event not later than 7 days following the delivery of the item to you. The matter will then be dealt with in accordance with our Refunds. and Replacement policy noted below.

4. If the item is faulty
If you take delivery of an item and the item is faulty, you should notify srbWorld by emailing returns@srbWorld .com. Notification must be given as soon as reasonably practicable and always not later than 7 days following receipt by you of the item. The matter will then be dealt with in accordance with our Refunds and Replacements policy noted below.

5. If the item is not what you ordered.
If you take delivery of an incorrect item, please notify srbWorld at returns@srbWorld  as soon as reasonably practicable and always not more than 7 days following receipt of the itme by you. srbWorld shall arrange for the collection of the item and for a correct item to be shipped to you.
 
6. Refunds and Replacements
Where an item is damaged and/or faulty, srbWorld reserves the right to repair the item in the first instance. If reasonably practicable, srbWorld will ask you to provide digital photographs to assist in the diagnosis of a fault or degree of damage. The inability to provide such photographs DOES NOT affect your right to a replacement or refund, it merely speeds up the process of resolving the problem.
Where srbWorld are unable to remotely fix a damaged or faulty item, and/or digital photographs cannot be provided, srbWorld shall arrange for the collection of the item. On receipt of the item by srbWorld and the verification by srbWorld that the item has an inherent fault and/or is damaged, srbWorld shall refund all monies in full as soon as reasonably practicable including the cost of the return shipping which is payable by you in the first instance.

Any product purchased under the pre-built ready to go service cannot be returned unless the product is faulty or has otherwise been incorrectly supplied.

If an item is returned to srbWorld (save where the item is legitimately returned under paragraph 1 above) and no fault or damage is found, no refund of any monies can be made. You will further be responsible for the cost of returning the item to your nominated address.

7. Replacements
Please note, that all items sold by srbWorld are sold at extremely competitive prices. If a product proves to be damaged or faulty and it cannot be fixed, it can, in some circumstances, be uneconomic for srbWorld to issue a replacement. In these circumstances, srbWorld reserves the right to refund monies in full in the alternative.

Please note, a replacement may prove uneconomic where you have failed to sign the delivery notes as "contents unchecked". Therefore, it is very important that such notes are added to the delivery note.

8. Return address and additional information
You are entitled to use a courier of your own choice, however, srbWorld would recommend you use the courier nominated  by us. Where returns are necessary, we can organise this for you and this should be arranged directly with a member of the srbWorld team.

Furniture returns must be arranged directly with us due to the weight and delicate nature of the product.
