What more could any little girl look for in a first bed?! The lovely 'Fairy Princess' range of furniture for girls has been updated for the new season and now features a great fairy themed graphic on the headboard to watch over your slumbering princess throughout the night.
A standard single bed rather than a smaller 'junior' bed, you won't have to replace this bed as your child grows. The sleeping area of the bed is within 35cm from the floor (this is the distance the EU recommends for a first bed) minimising the impact of any midnight wriggling. A safety bar can be purchased separately to keep them in place throughout the night if you do have a particularly active sleeper on your hands!
Strong aluminium legs support a wooden bed frame with strong wooden bed slats (although we still wouldn't encourage bouncing on the bed of course). The wood has then been coated with melamine to protect it from scratches and also to prevent the colours fading if left in the sunshine of a bedroom window.
