Does the play system require assembly?
Yes. All of the play systems in the Soulet range are self-assembly. Whilst self-assembly is made easy, we would advise that a keen DIYer assemble the products
.
Can the play system be placed on grass?
Yes. Grass is a perfectly acceptable surface so long as it is level. You may want to consider access for cutting and maintaining grass. Further, grassy areas can be easily worn and become very muddy during wetter weather. Surfaces you may wish to consider include bark chips, rubber chipping and rubber matting. Bark chips can be purchased in most garden and DIY centres and represent a relatively inexpensive option. Rubber Chipping and matting can be more expensive. If you have trouble locating a source of supply, please contact us.
Are there any other factors I should consider when deciding where to place my Soulet play centre?
Yes.
A 1.8m clearance should be allowed for around this set.
If possible, consider a shaded area of the garden to reduce the amount of direct sunlight your children are exposed to. You should also take into account the height of the centre and consider the proximity of trees or any overhead telephone cabling.
To ensure added stability and robustness, this product is supplied with ground stakes. The ground stakes should be concreted into the ground. Full details of this are set out in the assembly manual.
What is the play system made out of?
The Soulet range
is
made from a high quality treated pinewood.
Do you provide a warranty?
A 10-year warranty against wood rot or insect attack is provided with this product. Please see our Soulet Warranty for further details.
How are the items delivered?
Our delivery service is a home delivery service, provided by an entrusted carrier with an excellent service reputation.
The play systems are delivered on a kerbside only basis. This means that you will need to arrange for help to carry the product into your property/out-buildings.
Your parcels will be securely strapped to a pallet and protected with cling-wrap, and the driver will remove the pallet from the delivery vehicle by tail-lift. However, the driver does NOT carry equipment with which to transport a loaded pallet from the kerbside.
Our customer services team will contact you to agree a suitable delivery day (Monday – Friday) so that you can make appropriate arrangements.
Is there an extra charge for delivery?
Delivery to mainland UK address is FREE. If you live in the Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of Man or another non-mainland UK address, please contact us so that we can advise what surcharge will apply.
What ages are the systems suitable for?
The manufacturers suggested age range is 2-10 year olds. Please see each product for more details.
