Children's Bedroom Furniture FAQ's
Please note these FAQ's apply to all children's bedroom furniture sold by srbWorld. If they do not answer your query, please contact the Customer Support team.
Does the furniture come pre-assembled?
Yes and No! Some products are delivered pre-assembled, for example, a chest of drawers, others do require some assembly, for example, a wardrobe. Please see each product description for full details. The Lilla chest of drawers is a self assembly item.
Are the instructions in English?
Yes. Our test team have reviewed and used all the instructions and are happy that they make self-assembly as easy as possible.
Is the furniture easy to clean?
Yes. Standard furniture polish and/or warm soapy water is fine. We would advise avoiding bleach-based products. Our furniture is all melamine coated with an extra scratchproof layer to assist in keeping the furniture looking clean and new.
For the Flash GT car bed, we recommend a dry celan duster only. Abrasive or chemical based cleaning products may diminish it's shine.
What is the furniture made out of?
All of the furniture is made out of melamine-coated particleboard, which has been produced to the strict specification of the manufacturer. The particleboard is extra strong to prevent damage during transit and to ensure that you have years of use out of the furniture. The furniture is free from chemicals either harmful to you or the environment. The surfaces are anti-bacterial and anti-allergenic, making them perfect for a child’s bedroom.
The Flash GT car bed has a strong wooden frame with tough plastic fibre glass effect panels.
Are the mirrors made of safety glass?
Yes. All mirrors and glass are made out of strengthened, tempered glass to ensure that they do not shatter should an accident occur which cracks the glass.
Does the furniture meet European Safety Standards
There isn’t a mandatory safety standard for general furniture; however, our manufacturers have been awarded the GS safety kite mark. The GS certificate is a non-compulsory standard and only quality producers put their products forward for certification.
The certificate proves that the products are designed using advanced technology methods, the designs give priority to the ergonomics and safety of the products and that they help contribute to the healthy growth of the child. Do you provide a warranty?
Yes we do. We are happy to honour our manufacturer's warranty (see individual product pages for specifics) Cilek for example offers 5 years. Please contact us for more information - 0845 293 2960
How are the items delivered?
UK - single and smaller items (bedside tables) are delivered to your door. Larger items are sent with a specialist delivery company who will bring the boxes into a room of your choice - so please make sure they have clear access before they arrive. Delivery will be booked with you in advance of the day with a guidance time where possible.
International - all items shipped internationally will be on a palletised basis. In the case of the USA, the pallets are all heat treated in order to comply with US import legislation. Deliveries to the USA & Canada will be sent on an insured service and delivered to your doorstep. Any local import taxes payable will be for the account of the buyer and not srbWorld. srbWorld are able to advise as to where such taxes may arise and how much they may be. Is there an extra charge for delivery?
Delivery to mainland UK address is FREE when you purchase directly through our website, there may be a charge if purchasing through Ebay. If you live in the Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of Man or another non-mainland UK address, please Contact Us so that we can advise what surcharge will apply. Do you deliver internationally?
Yes. We dispatch many of our items daily for international destinations. These include Ireland, USA, Canada, and mainland Europe. Irish deliveries incur a £60 charge.
Do you have a returns policy?
Of course, and it's simple too! If you change your mind once you've received your order simply let us know within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange the collection and refund, minus the delivery cost. For our full returns policy, you can see more here.
